Shipping & Delivery Policy

I-Plastics supplies and delivers industrial plastics, signage materials, digital print media, display frameworks and related consumables to commercial clients across South Africa.

1. Delivery Areas and Service Scope

I-Plastics provides scheduled deliveries within Gauteng and coordinates national freight across South Africa, subject to courier routes, package dimensions, substrate weights, and product handling specifications.

Delivery schedules and arrangements are communicated and confirmed with the customer prior to dispatch.

2. Authorised Delivery Partners

To ensure reliable, professional transit of sheet plastics, roll media, and display hardware, I-Plastics partners with established national logistics providers:

  • The Courier Guy
  • RAM Hand-to-Hand Couriers

The chosen carrier depends on the destination, consignment volume, sheet dimensions, fragility, and required transit speed.

3. Free Delivery in Gauteng (Qualifying Orders)

Gauteng Free Delivery Conditions

Qualifying orders valued at over R500 may receive free delivery within Gauteng when the delivery destination is located within 60 km of our premises at 149 Fleming Road, Meadowbrook, Gauteng.

Orders that do not meet these qualifying criteria—including orders outside the 60 km radius, orders valued at R500 or below, or consignments requiring specialized heavy freight or flatbed transport—will incur standard delivery charges as communicated prior to dispatch.

4. Delivery Charges and Rates

Where free delivery does not apply, delivery charges are calculated directly from the applicable standard commercial rates charged by The Courier Guy or RAM based on consignment weight, volumetric dimensions, destination zone, and service tier.

All applicable courier and freight charges are communicated clearly to the customer for approval before the order is dispatched. There are no hidden delivery fees.

5. Dispatch and Processing Times

Order processing, cutting, and packaging times depend on material availability, confirmation of payment where applicable, and courier collection schedules.

Estimated delivery timeframes will be provided upon order confirmation. While I-Plastics and its courier partners strive to meet all estimated schedules, delivery windows are estimates and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing for a specific consignment.

6. Delivery Address and Receiving Protocol

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate physical address, receiving contact name, and active telephone number for delivery. Couriers operate during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00).

Please ensure that authorized receiving personnel are present at the designated delivery address to accept, inspect, and sign for the goods. Any additional courier re-delivery fees resulting from incorrect address details or inaccessible premises will be communicated to the customer.

7. Consignment Inspection Upon Arrival

Because industrial plastic substrates, acrylic sheets, and display hardware require careful handling, customers are requested to inspect packaging and materials upon delivery:

  • Inspect external packaging for signs of handling damage, punctures, or transit bending before signing the courier waybill.
  • If visible damage is apparent, endorse the delivery waybill noting the damage (e.g., “damaged packaging / received subject to inspection”) and inform I-Plastics promptly.
  • Please retain all original protective films, packaging, and waybill documentation, and provide clear photographic evidence to assist our team in resolving the claim quickly.

Notifying us promptly does not prejudice or limit any statutory rights you may hold under South African consumer legislation.

8. Warehouse Collection Option

Customers who prefer to collect orders using their own vehicles or company transport are welcome to collect directly from our warehouse facility:
