LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods, supply of quotations, and use of the website and services provided by I-Plastics across South Africa.
Last Updated: October 2026 • Official I-Plastics Policy
1. About I-Plastics
I-Plastics is a specialist South African B2B supplier of industrial plastics, signage materials, digital print media, display systems and related consumables. References in these Terms to “I-Plastics”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to I-Plastics, situated at 149 Fleming Road, Meadowbrook, Gauteng, South Africa.
2. Scope and Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all enquiries, quotations, orders, sales transactions, and use of our website (i-plastics.co.za). By browsing our catalogue, requesting a quotation, submitting an enquiry, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
Where transactions are entered into with consumers as defined under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), statutory consumer rights are fully respected and are not limited or excluded by these Terms.
3. Product Information and Specifications
We make every reasonable effort to display accurate product descriptions, material specifications, technical data, dimensions, and visual representations across our website and catalogue.
However, industrial plastics, textiles, and substrate materials may be subject to standard commercial manufacturing tolerances in thickness, colour tone, weight, and finish. Customers are responsible for determining whether a particular material or grade is suitable for their intended commercial application, fabrication process, or operating environment.
4. Pricing, Quotations, and Availability
All published prices and estimates on our website are stated in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to confirmation at the time of order placement. Demonstrations, catalogue prices, or website listings may be updated without prior notice due to material cost variations, currency fluctuations, or supplier adjustments.
Formal quotations issued by I-Plastics are valid for the period specified on the quotation document. Products remain subject to stock availability and prior sale. An order is only confirmed once I-Plastics has reviewed material availability, accepted the order, and communicated confirmation to the customer.
5. Orders and Payment
Orders may be placed through our website, via direct B2B enquiry, by email, or through our confirmed communication channels. Once an order is confirmed, payment must be made in accordance with the agreed terms or through our accepted commercial payment methods before dispatch, unless credit or account terms have been expressly approved in writing by I-Plastics.
Ownership of all goods remains with I-Plastics until payment in full has been cleared and received.
6. Delivery and Risk
Delivery arrangements, courier providers, charges, and transit conditions are governed by our dedicated Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk of loss or damage in transit passes to the customer in accordance with commercial delivery arrangements or applicable statutory rules.
Customers are required to inspect delivered consignments promptly upon receipt and notify I-Plastics of any discrepancies, transit damage, or shortage.
7. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Returns, claims for defective goods, incorrect deliveries, and refund requests are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act.
Custom-cut sheets, specially converted substrates, custom-printed materials, or special buy-in items manufactured or cut to customer specifications cannot be returned for ordinary change-of-mind reasons.
8. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All content on the I-Plastics website—including text, graphics, logos, product descriptions, layouts, and software—is the property of I-Plastics or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, scraping, or distribution of site content is strictly prohibited.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
I-Plastics respects your privacy and processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Customer information provided during enquiry, registration, checkout, or communication is used exclusively for order processing, account management, courier dispatch, and customer service.
10. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, I-Plastics shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of materials supplied, fabrication delays, or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited under the Consumer Protection Act.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent South African courts.
